Annemarie Rawlinson

Award-winning artist Annemarie Rawlinson was born in Austria in 1941 and grew up during the difficult years of World War II and the post-war era. She travelled worldwide for many years, finally settling in California in 1978.
After graduating summa cum laude in fine arts in 1986, Rawlinson concentrated on decorative painting, murals and wearable art for several years. During the last 10 years, she has focused on creating assemblages and collages.
Rawlinson introduced the art enrichment program "Art to Grow on" to San Pedro, and continues to design and teach children's art projects.
Rawlinson's art has been exhibited in galleries, museums and other venues throughout the United States and Europe.
